There's been a handful of quiet communication between officers, yes, but nothing has been hidden from guild members that isn't already known - that the guild is in a pretty sloggish state.
Raids are not going off. Attendance is down, way down. Some form of morale drip or tiredness has let people zoom off without a goodbye.
So, what happened? And if that's not a viable discussion, what do you want to happen next?
Shall we adopt out? Meld with another guild? Recruit like a press gang? Carry on and weather the slow storm? Or mete out shares and call it?
Please share your responses, hopeful or despairing.

I'm back from my 3 week business trip and i'm available to raid again.
I would like to get back into raiding as a guild especially with 3.2 coming out soon.
I would also like to know how we were raiding ulduar on a weekly basis then, all of a sudden, there were no raids.

Truthfully, I'd like to have an answer for you. I can't pinpoint it myself - I know I missed a couple of weeks due to prior engagements, but then all of a sudden, nobody was signing up.
It isn't a blame issue, I just don't know what to do to fix it.

It's summer. It's in the 70's in the evenings. It's still daylight during our normal raid times.
When someone says let's go sit on the patio at some restaurant and eat tapas and drink margaritas, I have a hard time saying no, I have to stay home and play a video game.

I wish I could join Sofonda on that patio for margaritas.
But my summer (and in turn my WoW time) is being destroyed by my job. We're in the process of migrating our primary datacenter halfway across the state in expectation of a merger. It's been alot of late nights, and on those nights that it isn't that late, I'm finding it hard to gather the moxy to even turn on my PC when I get home. We're supposed to be wrapped up by Labor Day, or so say the project plans. I certainly hope so.
I would definitely like to see AA continue. Maybe suspend raiding for the summer and pick it up in the fall? Seems to me we've accomplished too much and have had too much fun together to just throw in the towel now and give up.
I'd also support the idea of merging with another guild if we could find one that would be compatible with us.

Hiya,
Having only hit 80 somewhat recently, I haven't been a part of Arkham's raiding line-up before. But for what it's worth, I'd be delighted to participate in any kind of runs people would like to put together (5-mans... raids... trips to Nagrand for ice-cream, etc...).
However, as I said: I haven't been 80 for very long, so I haven't had a chance yet to fully ponder my level 80-ness... :-) (spec, gear-up, rep, etc...). I think I've also been a little sluggish to do so, since there's another big batch of paladin changes coming up in 3.2, so I know I'm going to want to redo both of my talent specs/glyphs to adjust for it. I suppose I haven't been spending as much time on Kayem lately, while I wait that out. But it doesn't have to be that way if there are ways in which I can contribute now.
But as far as raiding goes, I'd need to catch up a bit in terms of gear (and experience), so I'm not sure where I fit into things. I understand that the guild as a whole is probably weary of running heroics and Naxx, so it may be a challenge for me to get to a point where I can be effective in the content people are most interested in now.

Kayem, 3.2 will help you greatly in terms of gearing for any sort of progression. While I don't have a problem with running Naxx, the issue with it is that it was ALL WE COULD DO. It's like hamburger helper, it's gotta get off the dinner table for a while. But what the next big patch is going to do is introduce a new way of handling the badges. I don't know if you were involved in the end of BC much, but for its last major Sunwell patch, they really expanded ways to get tier-level gear via badges that you got in Heroics. They're expanding and using a similar idea for this patch - all heroics and some of the raids are going to drop the same sort of tokens that you then designate as the badges you need to unlock gear that will be approximately Ulduar level. It's meant to help new toons get up to speed, and get people running heroics again. That will help people immensely.

Hey guys, Sorry I haven't been kicking around much, but I've been swamped with moving, getting the internet working at the new place and running into some serious issues with my desktop computer. Once I get away from the stressful nature of all this, I'll be on more often.
I'll likely be posting more about the future of AA, but it's still too early for rational thought right now...

Hey all
Sorry I haven't been on much lately, been really busy with work and other stuff. Went to the Toronto Indy last weekend.
Anyways, my take on the current situation is that I think it is just a case of summer getting in the way of staying inside on your computer. I hope we will get back to how things were a few weeks ago when the weather starts changing.
