People want to raid, many of them don't sign up. Sometimes it's scheduling conflicts, sometimes it's just life. I'm looking for input here, I've tried shuffling the time/day a bit to make sure that people that speak up can get in.

If you're not signing up because you believe that a raid's not going to happen, then we're pretty darn sure a raid's not going to happen. The interest is there. We need your help to get it into gear.

People still like the environment - getting involved helps keep that environment. What do you want to help keep the vibe going? Oldschool raids? More five man scheduling? More support for levelers? What's the missing thing?

Help me out here. I don't want to see the guild die, but if it needs to evolve into a new direction, then I'm here to listen to how that has to happen.

I am pondering your post, just so you know people have read it and are thinking about it.

That's more than fine. I hope the post itself doesn't read too aggressively, it's mainly that I know we've had trouble getting raiding steadily back off the ground and I want to be sure we're not missing something. Suggestions are always welcome.

If you feel that people's interest isn't translating into sign-ups, maybe there's just a disconnect between the game and the website calendar. Have you considered using the in-game calendar to set things up? Maybe it would provide a more accessible reminder of upcoming awesomeness. Then again, maybe "accessible reminder" is just a nice way of saying "beating-everyone-over-the-head!" :-) I get the impression that, in the past, the sign-up mechanism was certainly no barrier to getting regular raids going, so who knows.

As for myself, I'm pretty easy to please - any kind of group content is good fun to me... 5-mans, raids new and old. I should be pretty consistently available for the Thursday night slot, and could probably make a second night during the week as long as it's not Wednesday. Sunday night is another possibility.

Meanwhile, the "summer slow time" is almost over, so things may pick up on their own soon.
